Studio Discovery Tour, sponsored by the North Coast Artists Guild

ncag
2013 Dates: Labor Day Weekend and the weekend after, Aug 31-Sept 2 and Sept 7-8

Enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery that the northern California coast has to offer while visiting the personal studios of many of the area's most unique and talented artists.

This free, self-guided tour along a 50-mile stretch of Highway 1, from Sea Ranch to Albion/Little River, is the perfect way to spend a leisurely day or an entire weekend. The participating artists you meet along the way are happy to demonstrate the making of their art and share their unique vision.

Come to the Discovery Gallery in Gualala to see samples of work by all of the Studio Discovery Tour artists, at 39140 South Highway 1. Located in the Sea Cliff Center, above Trink’s Cafe, on the west side of Hwy 1. Open daily 10-5pm -- July 1 through September 15.

A free, full-color catalog will help you make the most of your tour. It contains a description of each artist, along with a detailed map and directions to each studio. While on the road, look for the bright yellow signs to help guide you along the way. Note that the catalog is a must when visiting artists in The Sea Ranch, since directional signs are not allowed along that section of Highway 1.
