Deep Valley Chamber Music Series
Bringing top-flight classical music performers to the Valley, and at the same time presenting local chamber ensembles that specialize in classical styles.
The members of Deep Valley Chamber Music Society of Ukiah, California are pleased to announce our inaugural 2008-09 Season, presenting three concerts this year on our main program. premiere classical musical event of the summer,
the Mendocino Music Festival presents music of the

From its inception in 1996, Opera Fresca has demonstrated a strong, unparalled commitment to fulfilling their mission to make opera accessible to a wide audience at a high level of artistry and performance. Much of the success of Opera Fresca’s distinctive and unique style is the remarkable result of wonderful voices, chamber orchestra, world-class musical and artistic direction, and the generosity and support of the creative, caring coastal community. Opera Fresca has expanded their Opera Access Educational Outreach Program to include live performance presentations in Mendocino County Schools, and offers Opera Access tickets to Sonoma County Schools. Their new Emerging Artists Program presents opera workshops featuring national opera educators.

Near, SPACE's mission is to empower our youth to
discover and trust in their innate ability to be
creative, responsible and compassionate individuals
through effective training in dance, theater, music
and cultural education. Featuring a diverse and
innovative environment ideal for learning the performing
arts, SPACE offers after-school and summer classes
for children ages 2 1/2 through adult.

Formed in 1983, the Symphony of the Redwoods is inspired and guided by the effervescent Allan Pollack, director of the Mendocino Music Festival. More than fifty musicians blend into a powerful ensemble, presenting a year round concert schedule. The Symphony is also home to the Opus Chamber Music Concert Series which provides local and visiting musicians opportunities for small-group performances and a youth program.

The
Ukiah Symphony Association sponsors a community-based
symphony orchestra with its home at Mendocino College.
The Symphony rehearses weekly on campus and
provides four subscription concerts and special
events each year. The subscription series are usually
held at Mendocino College Center Theatre, Center
for the Visual and Performing Arts, 1000 Hensley
Creek Road, Ukiah, CA.
