An educational organization which researches traditional music, dances, costumes, arts, crafts, sciences and technologies that comprise those which were once our native heritage. The Institute makes these traditions available to schools, institutions and the general public. & holds theatrical presentations, lectures, seminars, workshops and exhibitions.

College Repertory Dance Company

The
Mendocino College Repertory Dance Company is a diverse
group of dancers who share an interest in dance as
performing art. The company, which formed in 1986,
produces at least one concert each year, featuring
choreographic works by students, faculty members and
guest choreographers. Although the company maintains
a primarily Modern Dance repertoire, performances
frequently include dance theatre, jazz dance and ballet.

A commercial dance studio providing
classes in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, African, ballroom,
swing, salsa, the lindy and tango. Also offering a
preschool program, "Music Together", "Mom
and Me", plus yoga and College of the Redwood
classes. The Studio presents an annual Spring Dance Concert at Cotton Auditorium in Fort Bragg.

Near, SPACE's mission is to empower our youth to discover
and trust in their innate ability to be creative,
responsible and compassionate individuals through
effective training in dance, theater, music and cultural
education. Featuring a diverse and innovative environment
ideal for learning the performing arts, SPACE offers
after-school and summer classes for children ages
2 1/2 through adult.
