Watercolor Class is being offered this Spring
Semester in Boonville at the High School on Thursday
evenings 6:00 to 9:00 starting Jan. 19. Malcolm
West, the instructor, is an acclaimed watercolorist
with much experience in professional art, and art
direction in New York and the Bay Area , is now living
in the Mendocino area and is devoting his time to
painting watercolors of our unique area. Interest
and enthusiasm are the only requirements! (This
is an accredited course)
This
spring, (starting January 17th) Mendocino College
is offering the a class entitled Book Arts
in Anderson Valley. The class will be taught by local
Artist & Illustrator Susan
Gross, and will take place Tuesday nights
from 6 to 9 PM at the high school science room, #
9, from January 17th through May 16th.
Learn
how to create one-of-a-kind or small edition handmade
books using traditional and non-traditional structures
and techniques for self-expression and experimentation.
Due to limited class size, this class will fill quickly
so please register ASAP!!! Dont wait until the
first day of class! The class is open to non-art majors
and art majors alike, and high school students can
apply with special permission. For more information,
