Artists
- Teaching
On
these web pages you will find artists who teach. For the artist,
teaching is a means to sharing the creative process with others
and expanding themselves and their art at the same time. For
the student, the insights, skills and techniques that can
be learned from the artist, suggest creative ways to think
about questions and solve problems. The arts promote the understanding
of other cultures and times by challenging students to think
about the world in new ways. These pages are intended as a
resource to connect artists to schools and to communities,
seeking to include the arts in all levels of education and
life.
