The Arts Council of Mendocino County
is sponsoring an all-county Arts Summit
on Friday, May 16, 2008 from
10am – 3pm
at the Caspar Community Center in Caspar.
This is a great opportunity for arts leaders, artists, arts educators, arts organizations, community leaders, and promotional leaders from around Mendocino County to come together to network, share ideas, and learn from each other. The theme of this year’s arts summit is Mendocino ARTS Partnerships. A number of successful Mendocino County arts collaborations will be highlighted during a panel discussion. Other summit highlights include a panel of the Arts Council Board of Directors; a performance by the 2008 Mendocino County “Poetry Out Loud” student finalists, an announcement of the Community Foundation of Mendocino County’s “Arts for the Future” 2008 grant recipients, a review of the Arts Council’s current programs and services, and ample time for networking.
