The focus of this year’s summit is Arts Promotion and Marketing.
This annual all-county arts summit is a great opportunity for arts leaders, artists, arts educators, arts organizations, community leaders, governmental leaders, and promotional leaders to come together to network, share ideas, and learn from each other.
Highlights of this year’s summit include a panel of the Arts Council Board of Directors; a marketing and public relations workshop; time for networking; a brainstorming session; and the official launch of the Arts Promotion Partnership, a newly established partnership of the Arts Council of Mendocino County, the Mendocino County Lodging Association, and the Mendocino County Promotional Alliance. Be a part of the Arts Council’s plan for facilitating a more cohesive approach to branding and promoting the arts of Mendocino County. Click here to download a summit agenda.

Marketing & Public Relations Seminar for Artists
Local artist, David Wayne Floyd, will present a brief marketing & public relations seminar as part of this year’s arts summit. David will be leading an all-day workshop entitled “Paying the Rent: A Sales, Marketing and Public Relations Seminar for Artists" at the Mendocino Art Center on Saturday, May 12th. The Community Foundation of Mendocino County Arts for Our Future program is sponsoring the workshop: all proceeds from the workshop will benefit the programs of the Arts Council of Mendocino County. You will be able to register for David’s workshop at the summit, with a discounted rate for Arts Council members.
