Historian Dot Brovarney will give a presentation on the life and career of one of Ukiah’s luminaries, botanist and horticulturalist Carl Purdy (1861-1945), known as “The Dean of Wildflowers.”
This is the last weekend to view “Beauty and the Beast: California Wildflowers and Climate Change,” photographs celebrating the splendor of the state’s natural beauty while raising awareness of threats natural habitats face due to climate change.
