"God of Carnage" at Willits Community Theatre April 7-23

The French satirical comedy, “God of Carnage” by Yasmina Reza, will play at the Willits Community from April 7 through April 23. The award-winning play, translated into the English by Christopher Hampton, is directed by David Partch and features an all-star local cast. The action centers on two couples trying to resolve their differences over a playground altercation between their sons. A rift develops between the couples that leaves their liberal principles in tatters and exposes the hypocrisies of modern civilization. The play that has garnered international acclaim for Reza’s sharp look at human folly and the bevy of exhilarating moments of dark comedic behavior that comes forth from her characters.
