Ethnic Textile Memorial Exhibit

Pacific Textile Arts presents an exhibit of ethnic textile art treasures and tools of the trade, collected by Barbara Woodward in her extensive world travels, and given to Pacific Textile Arts by her family for preservation and education.

Opening First Friday, January 6, 5 – 8 pm; until January 29, 2017.

Barbara Woodward, late of Berkeley, CA, was a dedicated weaver who herself created richly interesting textile art.  Throughout her life, she was a world traveler who collected every kind of artifact having to do with textile production.  This gallery exhibit is a celebration of Barbara’s love of textiles in their many forms, and Pacific Textile Arts’ gratitude at being entrusted by her family with her treasured collection.
