Erin Dertner exhibition through August

Erin works mainly in oils with a palette knife, and often en plein air, allowing her to capture the essence of the place, its light, temperature, color and mood. The subject of light is Erin’s driving force, especially the cool shadows of early morning and those that fall long and warm in the evening. According to Erin,  “There is no better life than to study the world with paintbrush in hand and a heart full of love and gratitude”
