Artists and artisans in support of artists and artisans who lost homes, studios, equipment, or supplies in the Redwood Valley-Potter Valley wildfire.
A small group of artists and artisans, both those who have lost homes/equipment/supplies in the fire and those who wish to offer both short term and long term support, are meeting this Sunday at Black Oak at 2 pm. I am attending representing recently formed Deep Valley Arts Collective.
We have two goals:
1) to create a way for people with specific needs to connect with people who can provide for them ( I will be setting up a Facebook page for this within one week)

2) to create an ad hoc structure including Arts Council and other existing groups because we recognize the need will be long-term: many artists are in hotels or other temporary housing and may not be in a position to set up studios for quite a while.
