A Magical Evening of Flamenco Dancing and Music at WCT Dec. 9

A magical evening of flamenco featuring select artists of Bay Area dance company Caminos Flamencos will be presented at the Willits Community Theatre on Saturday, December 9 at 8pm.

The Sunday, December 10 matinee performance of Flamenco music and dance at Willits Community Theatre has been cancelled. The Saturday, December 9 show at 8pm is still scheduled. Ticket-holders may contact Brown Paper Tickets at 1-800-838-3006 ONLY to receive either a refund or change a Sunday ticket to the Saturday show at no extra charge.

This cuadro flamenco of world-class artists performed last in the area in 2013, so this is a rare treat. “Tierra de Flamenco” is an improvisational journey by artists who have always delved deeply into what made flamenco great at its roots: the connection between each performer in moments of true discovery and improvisation, the heart of flamenco. Lead dancer and director Yaelisa is an Emmy Award winning artist. Post-performance Q&A and wine will be served on Saturday night, and audiences are encouraged to stay and engage with each performer.
